The Lake Guntersville Music Academy is a community based center for exceptional music education.  Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished musician, you will find the right instruction with us.  All of our instructors are professional teachers with degrees, most with advanced degrees and experience teaching at the collegiate level. LGMA's goal is to bring studied, researched, and passionate music education to the area. Students at the academy are encouraged to participate in the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music examination, because we believe students should have goals and work hard to achieve them.

We would like to stress that we are a school of music - not a  facility attempting to offer dance, crafts, drama or  any other activity that can be placed under the fine arts umbrella.  We focus on one discipline - music, and we believe after study with us, you will find that we do this exceptionally well.
