Private Lessons

Private lessons are available throughout the week; morning, afternoon and evening. Students will study one-on-on with the instructor and will usually move much quicker than in a class. Lessons are once per week, for 35 minutes. The lessons will continue in that time slot from then on. Students age 6 and up are generally ready to study privately. Younger students are accepted on an instructor approval basis.

Semi-private Lessons

Semi-private lessons are for two or more students in 35 minute lessons. This is a good option for siblings wanting to study the same instrument until they are far enough along to study independently.

Congratulations to Slader Jordan! 2011 Our first student to graduate out of LGMA! Slader was awarded  two guitar scholarships to UAB, one classical guitar and one electric guitar.  Slader started 4 years ago in a beginner class, then moved into private lessons in electric and classical guitar. He participated in the ABRSM exams in classical guitar, passing with distinction!
